Objective : Support & amplify the targeting of swiss fossil finance in
the coming months
Mission :
Help to co-organize workshops about swiss fossil finance targeting,
climate justice & social change strategy and tactics
Support mobilization effort and pressure to decarbonize SNB/BNS,
Credit Suisse and/or UBS in the months to come
Support groups and movements connection around fossil finance
targeting in Switzerland and beyond
Support the work to spotlight BlackRock’s influence in Switzerland
Improve the fossil finance targeting online strategy and communication
on Social Media + on the Web
Location : work mostly online with some offline sessions, including
working meetings in Geneva, Lausanne, Bern and/or Zürich (travels
supported by CCJS)
Selection criteria :
Strong organizational and teamwork skills
Good knowledge of climate justice issues
Good knowledge of the main swiss fossil finance actors
Experience in advocacy against swiss fossil banks is a clear advantage
Good knowledge of the Swiss culture & politics
Strong motivation to work with the swiss and international climate
justice movement on fossil finance issues
Capacity to work online and in travelling conditions
Good capacity to deal with in an intercultural working environment
Good level in Swiss German or French is mandatory and a good level in
English is requested
Women, non-binary and racialized candidates are encouraged to apply.
Working time : 24 hours per week / Gross salary : 2 707 CHF per month,
for each position - Duration : 6 months

Coordination Climate Justice Sociale is a NGO based in Geneva focusing
on the climate and social crisis challenge since 2008.
Its goal is to empower the actions of its members and to support fast,
just and green transition in Switzerland and beyond. CCJS is part of
different national and international alliances and coalitions, such as
Climate Alliance, Coalition for a Binding Treaty to Stop Corporate
Impunity and the Climate Justice Action network).
CCJS initiated or co-organized various initiatives such as Alternatiba
Leman and Climate Marches in 2017, 2018 and 2021 in Geneva. It supported
the Climate of Change March in Bern in 2019 and co-organized moment of
strategy sharing & indigenous led tours in Europe (Stand Up with
Standing Rock 2017, United Beyond Gas 2018, Indigenous Voices & Visions
from Brazil 2019).
